Drake has a reputation as an avid gambler, regularly posting his sports bets on social media and partaking in online casino live streams. He didn’t waste much time hitting the tables after landing in Australia on Wednesday ahead of his Anita Max Win tour.

The 38-year-old went to the Crown Melbourne with his entourage, and one of his friends posted a video to Instagram showing the rapper dancing in an elevator with stacks of casino chips. The caption said that Drake won AU$700,000 (US$436,324) during the session.

The five-time Grammy winner is staying at Crown Melbourne, taking over the Presidential Villa that encompasses the property’s entire 38th floor and usually costs at least AU$25,000 (US$15,583) per night. He’ll perform 14 times in what will be his first tour visit to the country since 2017.
