Flutter Entertainment has entered into a long-term partnership with Aviator LLC. Under the arrangement, Flutter’s global brands will distribute and market the company’s games.

The pair were in the middle of a legal battle over the use of Aviator’s logo and name, which Spribe started using in 2019 for its popular crash game.

shareholder argued that the deal didn’t include the Aviator intellectual property

Aviator Crash was available to play at Adjarabet before the Georgia-focused gambling site was sold to Flutter. A former Adjarabet shareholder argued that the deal didn’t include the Aviator intellectual property (IP) and that the logo and trademark were transferred to Aviator LLC in 2022.

When Spribe registered its own trademark for Aviator’s online game in 2021 and 2022, Aviator LLC claimed this was an IP infringement.

A judge in Georgia ruled in August that Flutter and Spribe had to pay a $330m settlement to Aviator LLC and that Adjarabet could no longer use the name “Aviator.” Flutter originally planned to appeal the decision before coming to an arrangement with Aviator LLC.
