菲律宾国调局近日突击邦邦牙省(Pampanga)安吉利斯市(Angeles)一家KTV酒吧，救出50名女性，其中包括一名未成年人。据悉，该KTV酒吧成为当地外国人的买淫温床。
国调局中吕宋岛助理区域总监 Noel Bocaling表示：“他们的顾客通常是外国人，因此我们还特意挑选了一名看似日本人的探员进入场所。”
他补充道：“这家KTV酒吧是由菲律宾裔韩国人经营的，所有合作伙伴都是韩国人。”
当局表示，KTV酒吧的外观和其他酒吧一样，而卖淫活动据悉从2022年8月开始。
Bocaling表示：“当顾客在KTV酒吧开房间唱歌时，一位‘妈妈桑’会进入房间并询问是否需要‘sokoji’的特殊服务。顾客只需要付钱就能将女人带出去。”
当局在行动期间逮捕五名嫌疑人，其中包括三名据说是KTV酒吧老板的韩国人。
菲国调局发言人Giselle Garcia-Dumlao表示：“我们建议对被捕嫌疑人提出人口贩卖的指控，这样他们就无法进行保释，特别是此案涉及三人以上并且非法业务是联合起来的。贩卖人口是现代奴役的一种形式。这就是为什么识别受害者并将其从剥削条件中解救出来非常重要，尤其是这里的受害者是未成年人。”
