Cartagena de Indias, April 22, 2025. Las Americas Convention Center will become the meeting point for authorities, trade associations, operators, and suppliers from the gaming and entertainment sectors in Latin America, as they gather for GAT Expo Cartagena 2025 on April 28, 29, and 30. The event will kick off with an academic agenda that reaffirms Colombia’s role as a strategic hub for industry development and regulation in the region.

With 26 years of experience organizing B2B events, GAT Events presents a program focused on three main components: regulatory updates, technological innovation showcased through exhibits, and world-class networking for generating effective business in an ideal setting.

General Program – GAT Expo Cartagena 2025

Academic Agenda – Monday, April 28 (9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

The day will open with a presentation by the host regulator, Coljuegos, which will highlight regulatory advances and public policies in Colombia—a regional leader in this field. GAT also confirms the participation of the Puerto Rico Gaming Commission, led by its Executive Director, as the international governmental guest authority.

The program of panels and conferences will feature representatives from Colombian associations Asojuegos, Cornazar, Fecoljuegos, and Fedelco, as well as international organizations such as CIBELAE, AIEJA, SONAJA, Colombian Official eSports, and the Colombian Olympic Committee (COC), strengthening the exchange of best practices and regional inter-institutional cooperation, while fostering public-private partnerships.

José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT, stated:
"We’ve built the academic agenda based on the concerns and suggestions of industry stakeholders, prioritizing not only regulatory issues, but also the emergence of new business lines such as Betting on Racing and Virtual Sports (ACDV), and electronic sports betting—an emerging vertical in Colombia that is already a global phenomenon as an Olympic discipline. eSports were recently regulated in our country by a national law.”

On Monday evening, attendees will enjoy the exclusive networking event "Sailing Toward New Connections,” a boat tour of Cartagena Bay designed to strengthen ties within the Latin American gaming community in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

On the morning of Tuesday, April 29, Fecoljuegos and Cornazar will hold their general assemblies as part of GAT Expo. This institutional component reinforces Cartagena’s position as a regional hub for building consensus and integrating the gaming business ecosystem.

Trade Exhibition – Tuesday, April 29 and Wednesday, April 30 (2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.)
