Four people are suing Las Vegas hotels for an unusual reason. All of the plaintiffs were bitten by bed bugs while staying at the properties, now they want some recompensation.

The three lawsuits are aimed at the Luxor Hotel and Casino and Treasure Island, with three guests suing the former and one the latter. The incidents supposedly took place in June last year. The plaintiffs have provided video and photo evidence of the bed bugs and their bites.

The lawsuits claim that the plaintiffs were:

massacred” by bed bugs, leaving have scars.

Teresa Bruce, the plaintiff against Treasure Island, explained that the hotel sent risk management staff to her room who confirmed there were bed bugs. Staff moved her to another room but she claims she was also bit in the new bed.

In regards to the MGM Resorts International-owned Luxor, Stephen and Courtney Gully claim that the hotel sent staff to their room too. Courtney had to be taken to hospital as she believed her throat was closing in reaction to the bug bites. She was seen by paramedics in the parking lot and given narcotics, according to the claim.

According to 8 News Now, from February to August 2024 Southern Nevada Health District inspectors found bed bugs at Resorts World Las Vegas, the Bellagio Hotel and Casino, the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, and the Hilton Grand Vacation Club.
