Mexico City, August 20, 2025. – Within the framework of GAT Expo Mexico 2025, one of the most anticipated gatherings of the gaming industry in Latin America, the Mexico Charity Poker Cup will take place, a recreational charity tournament that combines the thrill of poker with social commitment.

The initiative, organized by Gaming & Technology Expo in partnership with Fundación Curando a México and produced by SoluestBet, seeks to raise funds to strengthen hospital and medical infrastructure in vulnerable communities across the country, through the donation of equipment and healthcare supplies.

The tournament will be held on Thursday, August 28 at Expo Santa Fe, Hall A, as part of the official GAT Expo program. Under the Texas Hold’em No Limit format, the competition will bring together 40 representatives from leading companies in the sector—online and land-based casino operators, technology providers, betting platforms, and strategic allies—who will share in a high-level environment of solidarity and networking.

Beyond the competition, the Poker Cup is envisioned as a platform to highlight corporate social responsibility and the human side of the gaming industry, as well as of GAT Expo as an organizer and promoter of social and environmental initiatives, previously in Colombia through Fundación Universo Verde, and now in Mexico. All proceeds from registrations will be donated to the programs of Fundación Curando a México.

Curando is a non-profit organization that has worked since 2012 to improve healthcare conditions in the country. Its efforts focus on equipping hospitals and health centers with high-quality medical equipment and supplies from the United States, in partnership with Project C.U.R.E. This has enabled aid to reach diverse regions, benefiting thousands of patients. Over more than a decade, Curando has consolidated an effective support model that unites companies, institutions, and civil society around one common cause: ensuring dignified and accessible healthcare services for those who need them most.

The day will conclude with the symbolic delivery of a check to the Foundation, as a reflection of the joint contribution of the industry, followed by the awarding of the finalists and the champion of the tournament, who will receive a commemorative trophy in the name of solidarity and business unity.

The Mexico Poker Charity Cup is made possible thanks to the support of companies committed to social responsibility and the positive impact of the industry. Among the first confirmed sponsors are BetSw3, a provider of technological solutions for online casinos; and ChatBet, a predictive AI platform for betting through WhatsApp and Telegram. These companies have joined this cause as strategic partners, contributing not only resources but also a message of corporate solidarity that transcends the game.

With this initiative, GAT Expo Mexico 2025 reaffirms its role not only as a platform for business, innovation, and strategic alliances, but also as a catalyst for purpose-driven initiatives that generate a positive impact on Mexican society.

Registration for the tournament is now open to representatives of industry companies—both B2B and B2C—operators and suppliers, and will remain available until the 40 allotted seats are filled. Interested parties can secure their participation by making a contribution to Fundación Curando’s projects. Please write to [email protected] and [email protected] to take part and position your brand as a leader in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Mexico.
