The GAT Events Circuit is set to return to the Andes with the upcoming edition of GAT Expo Bogotá, to be held on Thursday, September 25 at the Sheraton Bogotá Salitre Hotel. The Colombian capital will host a full-day event dedicated to commercial exhibition and high-level networking, bringing together leading international and local brands, suppliers, and operators to continue driving the expansion of the regulated gaming industry across Latin America.
The exhibition will take place in the Santa Fe Hall of the Sheraton Hotel, opening at 12:00 (GMT-5) and running until 20:00 (GMT-5). Renowned companies including IGT, Novomatic, Win Systems, Alfastreet, Pragmatic Play, Betconstruct, PlayGroup, RPCol, Mobadoo, Mer Design, Gem Solutions, and Lotería de Cundinamarca will showcase their latest innovations and cutting-edge technology. In addition, the Colombian trade associations Asojuegos, Cornazar, Fecoljuegos, and Fedelco will strengthen their presence and foster new alliances through their dedicated exhibition area.
As a special exhibitor, Coljuegos, the national regulatory authority, will join the event, underscoring Colombia’s position as a benchmark for progressive gaming regulation in Latin America. The land-based gaming segment continues to demonstrate solid growth and economic impact: in 2024, 3,546 authorized establishments operated nationwide, with over 111,000 slot machines and 17,345 bingo seats, generating transfers of more than COP 348.736 billion (USD 90 million) to the healthcare system, equivalent to 36% of the industry’s total contributions. In 2025, national games, including land-based operations, transferred COP 566.563 billion (USD 145 million), reflecting a 26.9% increase compared to the same period in 2024. These results reaffirm the strength of the land-based segment and highlight the strategic importance of GAT Expo Bogotá 2025, an exhibition with a strong emphasis on this vertical.
In the online segment, internet-operated games, particularly sports betting, continue to record positive growth. According to Coljuegos, authorized platforms transferred COP 206.951 billion (USD 53 million) to the healthcare system during the first half of 2025, representing a 9.5% year-on-year increase. This performance consolidates online gaming as a key driver of innovation and sustainability in Colombia, despite the challenges arising from the imposition of a 19% VAT.
Among the highlights of the exhibition, Novomatic will unveil a brand activation strategy featuring exclusive products tailored for established clients and new gaming halls. The company will showcase its Magic Games and Impera Line multi-game platforms, equipped with state-of-the-art cabinets and linked Progressive Jackpots, offering comprehensive, high-performance, and versatile solutions. Novomatic will also present cabinet models that achieved significant success during GAT Cartagena 2025.
