菲律宾海关局周五在帕赛市(Pasay)一个货运仓库中查获藏有8000万披索的毒品包裹。

据悉，来自巴基斯坦的包裹于3月7日运抵尼诺·阿基诺国际机场(NAIA)，最初申报为毛巾(Terry Towels)。
在经过X光检查时，当局发现影像与申报的货物不同。
在开箱检查后，当局累计查获重达11公斤、价值约为7990万披索的毒品。经过菲缉毒署的实验室检测，最终确定为沙雾。
当局将对收货人展开调查，以提交必要的指控。
