当局于5月2日透露，菲律宾移民局在马尼拉市和宿务省的行动中分别逮捕逾期逗留的外国人。当局表示，48岁的美国人Barry Lee Jordan于4月28日在宿务省Carcar市被捕，原因是他涉嫌在该国逾期逗留长达七年的时间。
Singh被发现护照上有伪造的菲律宾入境签证，在移民局的法证实验室确定其签证为伪造后，他被阻止登上飞往新德里的航班。两人目前被拘留在达义市(Taguig)的移民局拘留所，等待驱逐出境。
