部落理事會主席約瑟夫·魯普尼克 (Joseph Rupnick) 評論了這一決定：“說實話，這是一個相當繁瑣的過程，我認為今年不會完成。
“但是，感謝州長的工作人員、他們的領導，以及眾議院和參議院當選議員的領導，我們能夠完成這項工作。”
堪薩斯州的體育博彩直到 2022 年 9 月才合法化，不久之後就開始與 Prairie Band Casino & Resort 進行談判。
據魯普尼克稱，發布可能會在第四季度或更早進行——儘管目前這只是猜測。
Prairie Band 的另一個目標是擁有自己的專用應用程序供客戶使用。
魯普尼克進一步表示：“最初，我們打算在賭場內設立一個體育博彩室，現在我們希望提供一款移動應用程序。”
該部落的保留地是唯一授權體育博彩的地方，因為其他擁有賭場的部落必須重新協商其契約。
