全球首例！肯亞宣佈禁止國內Worldcoin實體活動，相關部門調查中
Worldcoin 挾帶著 OpenAI 創辦人 Sam Altman 的光環，在專案努力獲得採用的同時，相關的隱私保護似乎也被各界檢視中。肯亞已成為首個暫時禁止 Worldcoin 營運的國家。

肯亞：正調查 Worldcoin
肯亞內政部在臉書發佈 4 點聲明：

政府正關切自稱「WORLD COIN」組織的相關活動，該組織透過蒐集眼球/虹膜數據進行公民註冊。

安全、金融服務及數據保護等相關機構已著手調查，以確定上述活動的真實性和合法性，包括數據蒐集的安全性與資安情況，及該組織將如何運用數據。

該組織需先滿足涉及大眾的公共安全、金融交易的完整性等條件。

因此政府已立即暫停「WORLD COIN」及任何其他可能與肯亞民眾有類似接觸的實體活動。
德、法皆對 Worldcoin 展開調查
外媒 CoinDesk 表示已收到德國巴伐利亞的聲明，其數據保護辦公室已開始對 Worldcoin 展開調查。
此前法國國家資料保護委員會 (CNIL) 在 7 月 28 日時也向財富雜誌表示，Worldcoin 在生物識別的數據蒐集及儲存上似乎有問題，目前委員會正在調查中。
