OpenAI上周預告將在本周改版聊天機器人ChatGPT，底層升級使用GPT-4，並新增提示輸入範例，程式碼解析外掛Code Interpreter支援多檔案上傳。
OpenAI技術傳教士暨開發社群關係主管Logan Kilpatrick說明，ChatGPT將增加「一大堆」更新。其中最重要的是，底層AI模型將預設執行GPT-4。付費版ChatGPT Plus服務登入開啟對話後，ChatGPT會記住用戶上次選擇的模型，不必再重覆設定，有助提升生產力。熱門外掛Code Interpreter beta版將支援上傳多個檔案。
其他加入了使用體驗的相關功能，包括首頁不再一片空白，增加提示範例，OpenAI也會自動合成接續問題作為用戶建議。此外，用戶能長保登入，也不會被每2周登出再登入一次。如果用戶重新登入，也會有新的歡迎頁。最後，ChatGPT增加鍵盤捷徑，按「Ctrl+/」可顯示完整清單。
也有用戶提出願望清單，包括7月因被濫用而遭OpenAI關閉的網頁搜尋功能Browse with Bing 、以及提示紀錄搜尋等。
OpenAI另外還宣布開發者文件區加入搜尋功能（下圖），這也是用戶喊了一年多的功能需求。
