據信，這次黑客攻擊是通過被盜的私鑰進行的。
Stake.com 聯合創始人在嚮媒體發錶的聲明中錶示，它正在“調查”這一事件，併指出“出於這些原因，在任何特定時刻，它只將一小部分加密貨幣儲備保留在熱錢包中”。
