在欧美市场大受欢迎的短片平台TikTok，近年积极开拓其他业务，包括网上市场TikTok Shop服务。《彭博》日前报道指TikTok为了宣传这全新的服务，决定由10月27日开始，向在TikTok Shop开店的商家提供援助金，让他们可以给予折扣给美国的消费者。
每年11月都是美国消费市场的重要月份，零售商如Amazon和Walmart等都会借着Black Friday和Cyber Monday活动，以折扣、降价、送礼、套装等活动优惠促销。TikTok发言人确认他们会援助商家，金额最高为店舖降价的一般，Black Friday活动会在11月23日举行，而Cyber Monday促销则为11月28至30日。这个补助商户的计划，明显就是挑战Amazon和Walmart等传统零售平台。
TikTok Shop服务上星期于美国推出，TikTok为商户提供货运集散平台之余，还为视频创作者提供产品销售分红计划。TikTok据说将全球货物按年销售额目标设置为200亿美元，而年底的节日购物旺季相当关键。去年美国消费者单单在Black Friday和Cyber Monday期间，网上购物的金额就超过200亿美元。
