Willemstad, 1st September 2023 – The Ministry of Finance for Curaçao has announced that the Gaming Control Board (GCB) has today commenced the process of directly issuing new licenses to operators.

Willemstad, 1st September 2023 – The Ministry of Finance for Curaçao has announced that the Gaming Control Board (GCB) has today commenced the process of directly issuing new licenses to operators.

 

In line with this development, a dedicated portal – https://portal.gamingcontrolcuracao.org/ – has been launched, providing comprehensive details, official application forms, and guidelines that can be easily downloaded.

 

As part of the ongoing commitment to transparency and industry engagement, the Minister of Finance, Javier Silvania, will be personally hosting SiGMA Curacao at the prestigious Marriott Hotel on 25th – 27th September. This event, slated to be one of the key milestones in the licensing transition, will feature a conference, an exhibition, and multiple networking opportunities.

 

urthermore, to address any queries or concerns related to the new licensing process, the conference agenda provides exhaustive information on all facets of the legislation, application, and transition process with presentations directly from the Minister and his team, the Gaming Control Board and other authorities.
