蘋果被揭露：曾想撤下 Google，把預設搜尋換成 DuckDuckGo

彭博今天引述知情人士報導，蘋果公司曾與搜尋引擎業者DuckDuckGo協商，討論取代Google（谷歌）成為Safari瀏覽器「私密瀏覽」模式的預設搜尋引擎。

彭博（Bloomberg News）報導，相關談判詳情預計將於本週稍晚公布，因為美國司法部對Alphabet旗下Google提出反托拉斯訴訟的審理法官梅塔（Amit Mehta）今天裁定，他將啟封蘋果公司（Apple Inc.）高階主管賈南德瑞亞（John Giannandrea）和DuckDuckGo執行長溫伯格（Gabriel Weinberg）的證詞。

根據報導，梅塔下令將公諸於世的資料，包括蘋果與DuckDuckGo和微軟（Microsoft）各別的搜尋引擎可能合約協商內容。

蘋果、DuckDuckGo和Google皆未立即回應路透社的置評請求。

美國司法部9月在一場具有里程碑意義的審判中主張，占據約9成網路搜尋市場的Google為了維持霸位，每年非法支付100億美元給包括蘋果在內的智慧型手機製造商及包括AT&T在內的電信業者，以成為預設搜尋引擎。

微軟執行長納德拉（Satya Nadella）本月2日作證時抱怨，大型科技公司正在爭搶訓練人工智慧（AI）所需的大量內容，但Google卻透過與出版商簽訂高價獨家合約來鎖住內容。

納德拉還透露，微軟曾尋求讓旗下產品Bing成為iPhone的預設搜尋引擎，但遭到蘋果拒絕。
