欧盟业界负责人Thierry Breton于上周四（12日）要求TikTok在24小时内，详细说明打击与中东冲突有关的虚假资讯传播所采取的措施。TikTok周日（15日）发声明指已向Thierry Breton回复将采取的措施，但拒绝公开所有措施细节。
TikTok于声明中透露将启动指挥中心，以阿拉伯语及希伯来语的用户作主要目标，加强自动侦测系统以删除暴力照片和内容，并打击仇恨及虚假资讯。此外，TikTok也会删除攻击或嘲弄暴力受害者或煽动暴力的内容，增加对其直播功能的限制，并与执法机构合作，与专家接触。
TikTok表示对上周在以色列发生的恐怖事件感到震惊和黑然，对加沙日益加剧的人道主义危机深感悲痛，强调TikTok反对恐怖主义。
