The Tulalip Tribes’ Tulalip Resort Casino in Washington will see a significant expansion and makeover as part of a calculated plan to further establish the establishment as a top attraction. The 20-year-old company will be enhanced by the ambitious renovation, which will increase its area by 70,250 square feet. The extensive plan calls for both exterior and interior improvements as well as physical enlargement along with a host of new amenities. Although the exact nature of the expansion features and the cost of construction are yet unknown, the project is expected to start this year and be completed by the ambitious deadline of the end of 2025.

The Tulalip Gaming Organization’s President and COO, Marci Fryberg, emphasized the tribes’ continuing commitment to giving visitors an outstanding resort. “This project demonstrates our unwavering commitment to offering visitors all the conveniences, features, and services one would anticipate from a top destination resort,” Fryberg said.

The casino has undergone significant modifications and extensions since opening in 2003, when it originally cost $78 million. The facility’s $15 million, most recent makeover in 2016 demonstrated the facility’s dedication to remaining aesthetically pleasing and up to date.

Tulalip Resort Casino has already established a solid reputation for itself and won awards in a number of areas. The resort won Gold medals in seven categories, including Best Casino, Best Resort, and Best Spa, in the Seattle Times “Best in the PNW” readers’ survey.
