Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has just strenghtened its leadership team by bringing Ryan Collinge on board as the senior vice-president of business development for its Platform and Sportsbook division. With a rich background in the gaming industry, Collinge’s latest tenure was with Blueprint Gaming as a group director, followed by a pivotal role at Inspired Entertainment.

In his new capacity, Collinge will be instrumental in driving GiG’s strategic business ventures, particularly focusing on the Platform and Sportsbook sectors. This appointment comes at a crucial time as GiG is preparing to restructure its business into separate entities.

Collinge’s career in the gaming sector is extensive, spanning over seven years at Blueprint Gaming and before that, holding the position of executive sales director at Playnation. His efforts were key in facilitating a management buyout with Palatine. Collinge also boasts a nine-year tenure at Inspired, where he gained diverse experience in various capacities, including gaming product and entertainment manager and national account manager.

Expressing his enthusiasm about joining GiG, Collinge said, “Joining GiG at this time was too exciting an opportunity to pass up, given the enormous potential of the business. I have been highly impressed with the new X-Suite of products and the plans that the executive team have in place for the future.”

Richard Carter, CEO for Platform and Sportsbook at GiG, shared his optimism about Collinge’s appointment, highlighting it as a strategic move to bolster the division’s strength ahead of GiG’s business segmentation. “We have made some excellent hires over the past few months, and Ryan is another fantastic addition to our senior team,” Carter remarked. He emphasized Collinge’s influential role in enhancing GiG’s revenue growth and partner acquisition efforts.
