Best Western, the current owner of Casino Royale, has received the green light from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to construct a towering 699-foot structure on the site. Although specifics of the project remain sparse, it is reported that construction must commence by January 21, 2025.

Casino Royale is not the only Strip location facing demolition; Bally’s recently announced the forthcoming closure of the Tropicana in April to pave the way for a new stadium for the Oakland A’s, signaling a trend of redevelopment along the Strip.
