Despite the popular gambling websites and the enticing large money prizes, betting on the Presidental Election is still illegal in Washington and Idaho.

The Washington State Gambling Commission has stated that betting on elections remains illegal within the state, despite claims from a growing gambling site ‘Kalshi’, a regulated prediction site.

Kalshi has recently begun offering opportunities to bet on elections. However, the commission has emphasized that such activities are not permitted in Washington state.
