New data from the Florida Gaming Control Commission has revealed that Florida gaming operators generated net revenue from slots of $53.4 million in October, slightly increasing from the $53.1 million raised in October 2023. Money spent on slot games decreased year-over-year, with machines only taking $785.9 million this October compared to almost $813 million the previous year.

Slot revenue bounced back after a 7.3 percent drop in September, continuing the ups and downs slot operators are seeing this fiscal year. Revenues dropped year-over-year in July before increasing in August.

Harrah’s Pompano Park collected the most revenue, reaching almost $10 million despite operating more than 45 fewer machines than the previous year. The daily average revenue per machine hit $265. Two casinos produced a higher daily average per machine, with Magic City Casino generating $285 per machine and $311 per machine at Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino.

While Harrah’s Pompano Park generated the most revenue, Magic City Casino handled the most through its slot machines, with customers spending almost $155.7 million. That marked a 4.6 percent rise in spending year-over-year, even if revenues only rose by 1.8 percent.
