BetMGM announced Thursday that the progressive jackpot at its online casinos in New Jersey had eclipsed $4 million, making it the largest progressive jackpot in the operator’s history.

New Jerseyans looking for a chance to win can play online at BetMGM, Borgata, Wheel of Fortune Casino, and Party Casino. Dubbed “The Big One,” the progressive pool grows any time one of 19 slot titles (produced in-house by Entain) is played but the jackpot is not won. Bison Fury, Mirage Mega Magma, and Loot’en Khamun: The Dead Sea Scrolls are among the slots that feed into the jackpot.

“A growing, record-breaking jackpot that can be won at any minute is exhilarating,” BetMGM’s chief revenue officer, Matt Prevost, said in a press release. “BetMGM is anticipating the momentous occasion in our history when we can award the biggest jackpot ever.”

According to the release, BetMGM awarded more than $138 million in online jackpots in 2023, a 32% increase from the prior year.
