Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher and former Manchester City man Micah Richards are willing to put their money where their mouth is. The ex-soccer stars have agreed to a bet on the upcoming title race clash between their former clubs, with a Thom Browne suit up for grabs.

Carragher and Richards locked heads over the clash when providing analysis on City’s 3-1 win over Copenhagen in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday. Feeling confident after his former side’s dominant performance, Richards suggested that City may have “too much quality” for their EPL rivals.

Carragher quickly fired back, asking if Man City manager Pep Guardiola had ever won at Liverpool’s stadium, Anfield. “Once,” Richards responded. “I can’t remember when it was. It was once in nine, and four draws as well.”

When Kate Abdo, the show’s host, asked if the pair were willing to make a bet on the upcoming game, Richards replied that he wanted “a new Thom Browne suit.” He confirmed that Carragher could have any suit he wanted at a similar price should Liverpool win, and the pair shook hands.

Thom Browne suits typically cost in the region of $2,500.
