Nevada February Revenues Hit $1.34 Billion
Nevada, reported a rise in gambling revenue for February, reaching $1.34 billion, the figure represents an 8.5% year-on-year increase, driven primarily by the growth within the baccarat segment.
Slots machines accounted for the highest revenue, generating $827.6 million for the month. Although this figure shows a modest increase of 0.6% compared to the previous year, it is a testament to the enduring popularity of slot games. It is worth noting that only multi-denomination slot games reported growth in February. Revenue for all other game types within this segment experienced a slight decline. The standout performer in February was undoubtedly the baccarat segment. It experienced a staggering 75.5% increase in revenue, reaching an impressive $180.1 million. Hockey betting contributed $4.3 million, while other sports accounted for $7.7 million. Baseball betting, however, resulted in a loss of $929,000.
