Svenska Spel has launched a sportsbook in collaboration with Kambi Group in Sweden. The state-owned operator signed a deal with Kambi in October 2023.

The sportsbook will utilize Kambi’s tech and proprietary risk management infrastructure. It will likely only be available to online customers given the closure of Casino Cosmopol, Svenska Spel’s last remaining land-based asset.

Svenska Spel Sport & Casino Product Manager Jonas Nygren said: “It feels good to be able to offer our customers a new competitive sportsbook.” He explained that customers will “get an extended gaming experience together with a wider range of both markets and services under our Oddset brand.”

Eric Lögdberg, Kambi Managing Director, commented on the launch. He said: “We are very pleased with our launch together with Svenska Spel Sport & Casino, one of the most well-known brands in Sweden in games and entertainment.”
