One of the more bizarre sports to hit the mainstream in recent years is Power Slap. It rivals bare-knuckle boxing and car ji-jitsu for the distinction, with participants lining up to take and receive devastating slaps to the face.

People can even place wagers on these events and to that end, NetBet announced on Tuesday that it is now an official sports betting partner of Power Slap.

A particular focus will be on growing in the UK, Ireland, Mexico, Brazil, Romania, and France.

The Dana White-backed sports organization hopes this new agreement will help boost the global profile of these tournaments, the next of which takes place on Friday. A particular focus will be on growing in the UK, Ireland, Mexico, Brazil, Romania, and France.

As a result of the new marketing partnership, NetBet’s logo will appear on the canvas and table at Power Slap events and both parties will collaborate on online branding opportunities.

Talking about the relationship with Power Slap, NetBet CEO Marcel Prioteasa said it combines “the next evolution of fight sports and the exceptional betting experience that our customers expect.”

Power Slap President Frank Lamicella noted that NetBet is the latest in a “growing list of blue-chip brand partners” to partner with the sport. Other big names on board already include Monster Energy and Entain Live.
