US Lawmakers Seek Federal Control Over Sports Betting

On September 12, 2024, Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) and Representative Paul Tonko (D-NY) unveiled their proposed legislation for sports betting, the Supporting Affordability and Fairness with Every Bet Act, or SAFE Bet Act.
