Aristocrat Gaming has revealed it is the recipient of the first-ever General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) vendor license in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The approval allows the Sydney-based company to provide land-based slot machines and online technology and games to licensed commercial operators. Its most noteworthy titles include Buffalo Gold, Dragon Link, and Dollar Storm.

Speaking on Monday about the news, Aristocrat Gaming CEO Hector Fernandez said it’s an honor to be the first global technology provider to get a vendor license, and that the company promises to provide “world-class gaming content, hardware, and services to cater to player interests and financial preferences.”

Wynn Resorts is the only company to earn approval for a commercial gambling license in the UAE, getting the green light last month. It is already building a resort in Ras Al Khaimah that will open in Q1 2027.

The only other operator to get a permit to date is The Game LLC, receiving approval in June to run the UAE Lottery.
