Macau’s gaming operators generated gross gaming revenues of MOP$20.8 billion (US$2.60 billion) in October, a new post-pandemic high thanks to a record-breaking National Day Golden Week holiday at the start of the month.

According to information from the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ), the October GGR result represented a 6.6% increase over the same month last year and was 20% higher than the MOP$17.3 billion (US$2.16 billion) generated in September. It was also 3% higher than the previous post-pandemic high of MOP$20.2 billion (US$2.52 billion) in May.
