Authorities in the Philippines are saying that some 758 foreign workers rescued during the raid on an alleged Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO), have now been processed.

The figure is a high percentage of the 1,239 people detained during the raid last week, however, authorities are investigating warrants and other criminal allegations regarding those in custody.

The raid, carried out on Xinchuang Network Technologies,  also yielded some 139 vaults, of which 63 have been opened, note authorities.

“The PNP with the support of other government agencies continue to exert their best efforts to ensure a thorough and fair investigation, which will aid in bringing justice to those involved in illicit activities,” stated a PNP rep.

Despite the findings, the nation’s anti-kidnapping group (PNP-AKG) reported that there were no cases involving POGOs between January and June this year, while noting that there were 14 this year in the same period.
