Bittrex 遭控未註冊非法經營

SEC 在今年 4 月時對成立於 2014 年的老牌交易所 Bittrex 提出多項指控：

• Bittrex 未註冊活動收入超過 13 億美元

• 未註冊經營國家證券交易所、經紀商和清算機構

• Bittrex 和前執行長涉嫌刪除「問題聲明」以規避聯邦證券法

• 外國子公司 Bittrex Global GmbH 也沒註冊，並與 Bittrex 共享訂單簿

Bittrex 遭重罰，子公司此前已破產

作為和解的一部分，Bittrex 和 Bittrex Global 已同意支付 2,400 萬美元罰款。這涵蓋：

• 400 萬美元的判決前利息

• 560 萬美元的民事罰款

• 1,440 萬美元非法所得

Bittrex 旗下多家子公司在 5 月時已宣告破產，並申請第 11 章破產保護，公司包括：

• 西雅圖實體 Bittrex, Inc

• 一家附屬實體 Desolation Holdings LLC

• 馬耳他兩家 Bittrex Malta Ltd.、Bittrex Malta Holdings Ltd.

Bittrex Inc. 此前表示，申請第 11 章破產保護並不會影響 Bittrex Global，能提供美國以外的用戶正常服務。

而同樣的，相關公司 Bittrex、Shihara、Bittrex Global 在和解協議中皆被永久禁止違反證券交易法相關條例，但這並不影響國際業務範圍。
